Allegro CL Allegro CL includes an implementation of ANSI Common Lisp and CLOS (the Common Lisp Object System), with a comprehensive application development environment. Common Lisp is a high-level language with special features for programming productivity, such as incremental compilation, automatic memory management, and powerful debugging tools. Common Lisp and CLOS enable programmers to create better applications in less time with built-in functionality and an interactive, incremental environment. Allegro CL also provides X Window support and smooth integration with the Unix operating system.
