Absoft Pro Fortran

Absoft offers both Pro Fortran (F90/F77/Fx suite) and F77 SDK (F77/Fx) toolkits. The F90 incorporates an extended version of the Cray CF90 front-end and supports most workstation extensions including those from VAX and Sun. It includes Big Endian <-> Little Endian data conversion and is link compatible with gcc, g77, f2c.

Absoft F77 is designed especially for porting legacy code from Unix workstations to the desktop. It conforms to iABI standards and meets DoD MIL-STD 1753, FIPS 69-1 and POSIX requirements and supports all common workstation extensions including RECORD, STRUCTURE, Cray POINTER, UNION (per V5.4 of VMS Fortran) and offers support for several Fortran 66 conventions.

Fx the multi-language debugger supports the full syntax of Fortran, C and assembler. Motif and curses interfaces included. Compatible with F90/F77/gcc.

Available as Pro Fortran (suite of F90/F77/Fx debugger) or F77 SDK (F77/Fx) both toolkits also include DISLIN graphics, HDF, BLAS and LAPACK libraries, all precompiled, hard copy User Guide, media and technical support. IMSL Math and Stat libraries are an available option and Argonne Lab has Absoft compatible MPICH libraries available for download.
