METAGRAF-3D METAGRAF-3D is a graphic application written in Java 2, so platform independent, much of the kind of "xfig", "tkpaint"...and others. The BIG difference is that METAGRAF uses as graphic interface, MetaPost. When saved a file of a drawing done with METAGRAF a new file with extension "*.mp" is created and run, in such a way that the figure created can be included in any TeX or LaTeX or PDFTeX document. It can be used just for creating drawings and printing them as postscript files. The new version 1.0.5 incorporates the all new macro routine TXP for wr iting text on curves with total precision. A new pop up menu allows to choose any kind of simple or double arrow for lines and curves. One object more has been included: the ARC object very simple to use and edit.
