GMV

GMV (General Mesh Viewer) is an easy to use, 3-D scientific visualization tool designed to view simulation data from any type of structured of unstructured mesh. Its features include:

  • Read and display any cell geometry
  • Displays nodes, cells, surfaces and particle tracers
  • Isosurface and cutplane interpolation of grid data
  • Ability to isolate a cell or groups of cells for closer analysis
  • A wide variety of animation options
  • A flight mode for interactive fly-throughs of the simulation
  • Many convenience features for high quality video production
  • A hightly intuitive and well behaved user interface
  • Visualizes data from any current or future 3-D simulation

The Linux version is statically links with Mesa OpenGL to X API. There is no graphics acceleration, so this version is slow.
