CAP CAP is a 3-D finite element analysis program that simulates solidification processes. CAP can be used on various casting processes, different mold materials, and multiple casting materials. CAP can also be used to optimize casting geometry in order to improve part integrity and reduce costs. CAP reduces required computer resources so that it can be effectively applied to real-life casting concerns. CAP can communicate with many standard finite element file formats for pre- and post-processing, including AMESH.
